Install & Update

DGBrowser runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Download it for your platform below, install, and launch — there is nothing to configure before your first use.

macOS

Open the downloaded dgbrowser-mac.dmg.
Drag DGBrowser into your Applications folder.
Launch it from Applications. The app is signed and notarized, so macOS opens it without warnings.

Windows

Run the downloaded dgbrowser-win.msi.
Follow the installer prompts, then launch DGBrowser from the Start menu.

SmartScreen “unknown publisher”. Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” SmartScreen dialog because the installer is not yet signed with a commercial certificate. This is expected. To continue, click More info, then Run anyway.

Linux

Download dgbrowser-linux.AppImage.
Make it executable — in a terminal: chmod +x dgbrowser-linux.AppImage (or, in your file manager, Properties → Permissions → Allow executing file as program).
Double-click it, or run ./dgbrowser-linux.AppImage.

Updating

DGBrowser checks for updates when it starts. If a newer version exists, a green Update to … button appears in the toolbar — click it to download the new installer, then install it over your existing copy. You can also re-download from the links above at any time. Your captured database is a separate file and is never touched by an update.
